Summer is finally here!

And I'm so depressed! Today is the longest day of the year, in terms of hours of daylight. That's awesome—I love it. But you know what that means, don't you?

Tomorrow we begin the slow and steady decline that doesn't end until December 21. Oh, you'll hardly notice at first, but come mid-August or so, the sun will be setting before 8:00. In fact, here in Pennsylvania we'll lose about an hour of daylight between August 1 and August 31.

It really does make me a little bit sad. I don't even want to think about it.

Time to get off this stupid computer and go enjoy some of that daylight!
