Nice, huh?

The very funny and very pretty Mir over at Woulda Coulda Shoulda recently signed up to do the Breast Cancer 3-Day, which is a 60-mile walk to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. If you've spent any time around here, you know that breast cancer is a subject that's very close to my heart. Well, at least it used to be. Now it's closer to my hands, apparently. But I digress . . . .

Mir's fundraising goal for the August walk is $5,000 (wow!), and she's already well on her way to meeting it. This weekend, she created some shirts on CafePress "to honor and support [her] upcoming 3-Day adventure." I hope she doesn't mind that I grabbed a photo of the women's version, which totally cracked me up:

Drawings of Mir's kids, Chickadee and Monkey, display on the back, along with the web address for the walk. She also created a men's shirt, and she's donating proceeds from both styles to the walk.

So go read her site! And then buy a shirt or two! Or, if you prefer, just donate! 'Cause she's nice. And pretty. And because it's an excellent cause that has touched all of us in one way or another.
