"Cousin Mas"

Recognize the guy in the middle picture? He's one of the Iron ChefsMasaharu Morimoto. We went to his place for dinner last night with J.P.'s mom, aunt, uncle, and cousin. After we shared a big plate of awesome sushi, I had the ishi yaki buri bop, which is "king yellowtail on rice prepared at your table in hot river stone bowl." The stone bowl was about 170 degrees, and when it got to the table, the thin slices of tuna were raw. The server stirred up the rice and other ingredients, then pushed the tuna to the sides of the bowl where it sizzled and cooked. It was delicious!
