Last night when I pulled into the garage after being out of town for a few days, there were three cardboard boxes stacked on top of the trash can. Now, this may seem like no big deal to you. But in our house, it means that J.P. has been busy on eBay or some other online store. I feared for the status of our bank account, and wondered what awaited me in the house.

One of the boxes had originally held our D70; another was for its case. And in the third box? Darth Tater. I usually try to discourage J.P.'s toy purchases. "What are we going to do with it?" I always say. "We could be putting that money toward our next Hawaiian vacation!" But when I saw this guy online a few months ago, I knew we had to have him. I actually forwarded the link to J.P., who's a HUGE Star Wars fan (another thing I don't really understand).

He's just so darn cute!
