Furniture Frenzy

Note: The chair is not actually bigger than the couch. But as long as they aren't distorted by Blogger, I don't care.

(Some of) our new furniture arrived today—hooray! We only ordered it 3 1/2 months ago. And we're still waiting for one piece. We wouldn't have anything to sit on if I hadn't called and argued with the store.

Good thing, too—I'm hosting a baby shower next weekend for our next-door neighbor. Much left to do in the room . . . install crown molding, hang window treatments (the ones we bought and hauled home from Denver last week because they were oh-so perfect), hang shelves, frame print, hang print. I'm thinking it won't all happen by next weekend, but that's okay.

This room has had hand-me-down furniture since we moved in five years ago. Some of it will have to stick around until we find replacements. I'll blog soon about one of our end tables . . . it's an interesting story.
